I then left a very tiny bit of play and used loctite on the bolt and it slides into the foregrip just fine. Barrel is solid and the reinforcement is almost invisible. A well thought out modification. Having owned the GHK PDW for a while now, I can say that it's a pretty and reliable gun; one of the few gas-blowbacks that don't need much modification to run smoothly out of the box. Having said that, it DOES require ONE thing, and that one thing is FG Airsoft's fixture. I, too, was previously using Samoon's (a great company as well) rubber barrel fixture - good, but not totally effective in eliminating the wobble of the barrel. FG Airsoft's fixture removed ALL wobble full stop. The barrel was ROCK-SOLID and ready to go straight after installation. Additionally, as others have said, it retains the free-float look that Samoon's fixture compromises on, but that was never an issue for me. I just wanted a fixture that would remove the barrel wobble effectively and easily, and FG Airsoft's product delivered just that. Basically, if you shoot the gun enough, the two screws that attach the barrel to the receiver (which are made in steel) will actually strip the screw grooves of the barrel's end-piece (the piece that the receiver screws go into, holding the barrel in a free float position). So my recommendation would be to get this fixture and install it (an easy installation, by the way) before you begin to use the PDW in earnest. Once you've paired this fixture with your GHK PDW, you've got a stable, reliable and fully functional gas gun that, if treated well, will not need any further upgrades or modifications. You can't go wrong with this product, and without it, you're just setting your gun up for failure. Thank you FG Airsoft for such a be-all end0all product. I also had Samoon's rubber piece and although it sort of worked, it took away the distinct free float barrel look on the PDW. Now with FG Airsoft's steel reinforcement the barrel is much more secure with zero wobble, while keeping the looks authentic. Definitely recommended to anyone with GHK PDW. Great product. Before I installed this one, I had SAMOON's rubber version. FG Airsoft's version manages to provide the same securiy wihout compromising the authenticity of the gun. Unlike SAMOON's, this one is metal and is installed deep into the rail system so it is not visible.
